Hand-held Sun Compass (Howard Pattern) MK2

Hand-held Sun Compass (Howard Pattern) MK2 was used by British Forces until at least 1991, was in use by British forces well before WWII. It also used two styluses similar to the Cole Mk 2 & 3 and Bagnold compasses for night-time navigation by the stars.
